Do what I say, not what I do.
The hardest part of being in this business is avoiding hypocrisy. I
tell my clients to publish a newsletter, keep their web content fresh,
and start a blog.
Then I send someone to my own website, cringing because I'm doing none of these things myself. Nice message I'm sending, right?
But my intentions are good, even if there aren't enough hours in the
day to turn them into reality (which is why I'm writing this entry at
1AM in the morning).
So, I finally decided to bite the bullet, install a copy of Mambo (an
open source content management system), and begin building the content
I should have built more than a year ago.
The excuses have run out. The shoemaker's kids need shoes now.
Please stop back to follow my progress as I heed my own advice. |
