This older project from 1997 addressed a marketing problem that today doesn't exist. In 1997, few computer users were aware of the threats posed by hackers and other data thieves. The public (and many businesses) were completely unaware of the vulnerability of their systems. SynData was a software company that developed several data security software products, including SynCrypt, an encryption program for Windows desktop users. This 44-page booklet introduced data security and encryption concepts to prospective and new customers in an-easy-to-understand format. The client originally intended to distribute this booklet to new customers, but after showing a draft to several prospects, was impressed by the enthusiasm these prospects had for the product after they read the booklet.
